George Gordon Byron (1788-1824) - Great English poet of the Romantic Epoch, the artist, which comes with new ways, a bright distinctive personality. A. S. Pushkin in the poem "to the sea" called him a genius and the "ruler of our Duma". The rebellious, winsted spirit of Bayronous poetry became a source of inspiration for many Russian poets that became translators of his works
