The content of the atlas is developed in accordance with the approximate geography program and meets the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards (FGOS). Maps on all topics of the educational course are presented. The cartographic material of each thematic spread is accompanied by an extensive and diverse illustrative series, contributing to a better understanding and assimilation of the geographical information conveyed by the maps, which ensures a comprehensive approach to studying the material. The methods of presenting cartographic and illustrative material contribute not only to achieving subject results in geography but also to the development of students' universal educational actions. Fundamental cartographic sources, the latest statistical data, and modern design capabilities were used in the construction of maps, schemes, and diagrams in the atlas.
