The atlas was developed in conjunction with the textbook by A. P. Kuznetsov, E. V. Kim "Geography. Basic Level" in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Secondary Education as amended by Order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation No. 732 of August 12, 2022, the requirements of the Federal Educational Program of Secondary Education approved by Order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation No. 371 of May 18, 2023, and is intended for the implementation of educational programs of secondary vocational education, implemented on the basis of basic general education or integrated with educational programs of basic general and secondary general education, when mastering subjects, courses, disciplines (modules) of basic general education and/or secondary general education. This edition is the first. The atlas contains a set of thematic maps on political, social, and economic geography of the world. Working with the atlas will help students form a comprehensive understanding of the socio-economic component of the geographical picture of the world: human resources, features of the modern world economy as a whole and its individual sectors, features of world regions and some countries. It is designed for comprehensive independent work in classes and at home. The political structure of the world on the maps provided in the atlas is reflected as of October 2022.
