Contour maps are an integral part of the educational and methodological complex "Geography. Russia: nature, population, economy" for the 9th grade of the "Spheres" line in geography. The colored contour maps are created using a technique that shows relief in a three-dimensional way and in an enlarged scale. For each topic of the course, a system of tasks of different types and levels of difficulty is offered with the aim of developing students' cartographic literacy while studying Russia as a whole geographical space, its territory, nature, and population. The contour maps can also be used with any of the existing textbooks for the 9th grade in the course "Geography. Russia: nature, population, economy." The revised edition complies with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Basic General Education, approved by Order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation No. 287 dated 31.05.2021. Boundaries are given as of October 2022.
