The educational and methodological set for 9th grade geography (author - O.V. Krylova) consists of outline maps with practical exercises and a collection of tasks for working with an atlas of geography for 9th grade. The set is developed in accordance with the 'Concept of the Development of Geographic Education in the Russian Federation' and aims to form knowledge about the geographical, natural, cultural, ethnographic, and socio-economic diversity of Russia. Numerous and diverse tasks presented in the 'Collection of Tasks' and on the outline maps contribute to the formation of students' geographical culture, awareness of their belonging to the country and their 'small' homeland. Creative and research works proposed in the set develop students' understanding of the peculiarities of nature, population, and economy of Russia. The tasks help students acquire universal educational actions in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards. The proposed set is suitable for all school programs and textbooks on geography, complies with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards, and is approved by methodologists. Russia on the maps is presented in new borders: with the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Oblasts, the Republic of Crimea, and Sevastopol.
