Universal educational and methodological set for geography for the 9th grade (author - O.V. Krylova) consists of an atlas, contour maps with practical work and a collection of tasks for working with the atlas. The set is developed in accordance with the "Concept of the Development of Geographic Education in the Russian Federation" and is aimed at forming knowledge about the geographical, natural, cultural, ethnographic, and socio-economic diversity of Russia. Numerous and diverse tasks presented in the "Collection of Tasks" and on contour maps contribute to the formation of students' geographical culture, awareness of their belonging to the country and their "small" Homeland. Creative and research work proposed in the set develop students' understanding of the peculiarities of nature, population, and economy of Russia. The proposed tasks contribute to the acquisition of universal educational actions by students in accordance with the requirements of the FSES. The proposed set is suitable for all school programs and textbooks on geography, meets the requirements of the FSES, and is approved by methodologists. Russia in the atlas is presented in new borders: with the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, the Republic of Crimea, and Sevastopol.
