The workbook is designed for children with intellectual disabilities and implements the requirements of an adapted basic general education program in the subject area of 'Natural Science'. The content of the workbook includes a differentiated system of tasks developed by the author for independent work by students on the topic 'Continents and Oceans', studied in the 8th grade. The combination of various tasks included in the workbook (filling in missing words, completing sentences, working with a dictionary, writing definitions, filling in tables, working with outline maps, elementary punch cards, engaging tasks, rebuses, crosswords, riddles, picture stories, etc.) is due to an individual approach to teaching children with intellectual disabilities and contributes to a deeper and more solid understanding of geographical material by students, as well as the development of their oral and written skills. The workbook can be used both in class for task completion under the guidance of a teacher and outside of class time. The workbook is part of the educational and methodological set for geography for the 8th grade. 8th edition, stereotyped.
