The atlas is designed for students in the 8th grade of general education institutions. The atlas covers topics such as the geographical space of Russia, the nature of Russia, and the population of Russia. Working with the atlas, students will learn to identify geographical objects, provide descriptions and characteristics of processes and phenomena, read and analyze maps to solve geographical tasks. The revised edition complies with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Basic General Education, approved by Order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation No. 287 dated May 31, 2021. The publication has been updated with the sequence of maps in accordance with the content of the approximate working program of basic general education, and includes current statistical information about the population of our country. The political structure of the world is reflected on the maps as of October 2022. 17th revised edition.
