The educational and methodological set for 7th grade geography (author - O.V. Krylova) includes outline maps with practical exercises and a collection of tasks for working with a geography atlas for 7th grade. The set is developed in accordance with the "Concept of the Development of Geographic Education in the Russian Federation" and aims to help students acquire universal educational skills, including cognitive ones. Studying the materials of the atlas and completing tasks for independent work will significantly expand students' knowledge about the nature and population of the Earth, about the geographical features of continents and oceans. This manual significantly increases the variety of tasks related to atlas maps and outline maps. Along with assessment tasks in the form of traditional questions, students are offered tasks to create their own maps, including as part of a group. Great attention is paid to testing skills in working with various types and sources of geographical information. The proposed set is suitable for all school programs and geography textbooks, complies with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards (FGOS), and is approved by methodologists. Russia on the maps is presented in new borders: with the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Oblasts, the Republic of Crimea, and Sevastopol.
