The illustrated atlas is a part of the educational and methodological kit "Geography. Earth and People" for the 7th grade of a general education school. The educational maps of the atlas are made in modern light-shadow plastic, which more realistically reflects the Earth's relief forms, the content is updated, the thematic load fully corresponds to the federal component of the educational standard. The thematic spreads of the atlas are complemented by various illustrations: schemes, diagrams, photographs, making the mastering of cartographic information easier and more engaging. The scales of the maps are chosen in such a way that it is convenient for students to work with them, mastering the initial course of geography. The revised edition meets the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Basic General Education, approved by Order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation No. 287 dated May 31, 2021. The content of the atlas is updated.
