The atlas is designed for students in the 7th grade of general education institutions. The atlas covers sections of the course: the main laws of the Earth's nature, the population of the Earth and its economic activities, continents and countries. Working with the atlas, students will learn to find geographical objects, describe phenomena, read and analyze maps. The revised edition complies with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of Basic General Education, approved by Order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation No. 287 dated May 31, 2021. The publication has been updated with the sequence of maps in accordance with the content of the approximate working program of basic general education.
The political structure of the world is reflected on the maps as of 2022.
