The universal educational and methodological set for geography for the 6th grade (author - O.V. Krylova) includes an atlas, outline maps with practical exercises, and a collection of tasks for working with the atlas. The main goal of the proposed set is to develop students' interest in geographical knowledge, to form practical skills in working with various types of geographical information. The content of the materials in the set ensures further deepening of students' understanding of the planet Earth and its layers, the nature of Russia, and working with a plan and map. Original educational tasks contribute to consolidating the material covered, developing a creative element in students, and the ability to work in a group. The proposed educational and methodological set, created in accordance with the "Concept of the Development of Geographic Education in the Russian Federation," is distinguished by the novelty of its content and is suitable for all school programs and textbooks on geography. The educational manual meets the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard and has been approved by methodologists. Russia in the atlas is presented in new borders: with the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Oblasts, the Republic of Crimea, and Sevastopol.
