The proposed book briefly, publicly and at the same time strictly scientifically discusses the foundations of spherical trigonometry, systems of heavenly coordinates, issues of measuring time and factors that change the coordinates of the luminaries.
Methods and methods of determining the latitudes, longitude and azimuts are set out. Detailed examples of calculations are given. Many years of experience in teaching the course of geodetic astronomy showed that the methodology of presenting the material in the book justified itself.
The book is designed for specialists of geodetic profile, geographers and geologists, as well as students and graduate students of the specialty "Applied Geodesy". It will be useful to everyone who, by the family of their activities, has to deal with geodetic astronomy issues
