Frida Veniaminovna Yaffa, in the girlishness of Kaplan (1892-1982), was born in Moscow in the house of his grandfather, the rich merchant of the first guild. She received a solid education, from her youth freely owned French and German and at the age of seventeen, without a gymnasium certificate, she became a volunteer of the historical and philosophical faculty at the university in Lausanne, where a year studied.
