In the current three parts of the III, IV and V "of the General Maritime List, information on the services of the Maritime Office, who received officer"s ranks or those taken to serve with these titles, to the reign of Empress Catherine II are concluded. In the third part III, surnames are placed from the letter A to and, in IV - from to to C and V - from C to Z, as well as additional information found after typing text.
These three parts are still drawn up, the details of which are explained in the preface to the first part of the "list". With the assistance of those who deserve complete appreciation, employees - N.A. Korguguev and S.F. Ogorodnikov, and, in the present case, the latter has got much more difficult. In the published three parts, as well as in the previous one, information was included on the service of all officers of the ship fleet, which had any instructions, and more issued by their service officers of the gallery or rowing fleet, ranks that were in admiralty, marine Artilleryrs, ship masters and teachers of the Marine Cadet Corps
