The book is dedicated to one of the founders of the Volunteer Army in the south of Russia General I.G. Erdeli. It is based on its letters of days addressed by M.K. Sverbeeva, dated 1918-1919. In these texts, the general’s reaction to what is happening, his arguments about the fate of the country and the meaning of personal participation in the war, recreate the internal atmosphere of the Denikin army, contain personal -in -vibrant poetic language. Particular attention author of the monograph is paid to the reconstruction of causal relationships between life events and system -forming personality traits
