The book about General Keller is already the twelfth in the series "Great Names of Russia". At first, I doubted whether the hero's scale was worth writing about Keller at all. But when I started writing, I realized that I was not mistaken. The more I delved into his life, the more amazed I was by the scale of this remarkable person. It is no coincidence that Bulgakov chose him as the prototype of the impeccable knight of honor, Nay-Turs, in his novel "The White Guard".
And it's not just that General of the Cavalry Count Fyodor Arturovich Keller won the last major cavalry battle in military history and that he, in a Suvorov-like manner, defeated enemy troops throughout the war and took thousands of soldiers as prisoners. It's about his impeccable loyalty to oath and duty, about his way of life and the example of his unwavering faith, which we so lack today.
