General Civil Code of Austria

For the first time in Russian, the translation of the Universal Civil Code of Austria, which is active (as amended) for almost 200 years is published.
The study of foreign legislation, on the one hand, expands the professional horizon, on the other, it allows you to look at the legislation of your own country under a different angle, especially since Russia and Austria belong to one legal family. Ideas expressed in the Universal Civil Code of Austria and used approaches and mechanisms may well come in handy in the improvement of domestic legislation.
The translation of the TGC text will also be useful to those lawyers who have faced the need for the practical application of modern Austrian civil legislation.
