In this paper, an attempt was made to consider from the standpoint of biblical, patristic and scientific anthropology. General aspects of human mental life.
The book presents various points of view on the formation of the concept of "psyche". The reader learns about the origin of the psyche, its differences from the soul and nervous system and their ratio. It is described about mental abilities, or the powers of the soul (heart, mind, will), and their differences before and after the original sin. The general main features (properties) of the soul forces are analyzed - their spiritual vector, correlatability and hierarchy. The issue of bodily organs that perform the role of the instruments of an innumerable soul for its manifestation in the physical world are discussed. The concepts "sinfulness" and "passion" are given and their relationship between themselves and with sin are considered. In this paper, information about Orthodox psychotherapy is also given and other important and interesting topics are affected.
This work is addressed to a wide range of readers trying to understand how religious, philosophical and scientific provisions relate to each other, and will be useful to everyone who is interested in the Christian teaching about a person.
