The book is addressed to children of primary school age and is dedicated to the history of Rome. Modern schoolchildren, having come on an excursion, get acquainted with a certain mysterious voice and listen to stories about the history of the "Eternal City". "Highlight" of the publication is in its artistic design. The author of the book, the sculptor by education, illustrated it with her works made during numerous trips to Italy. The story in famous paintings, sculptures, architectural monuments appears to the reader alive, close. On the fields and the last pages there are photos of memorable places in Rome. There is also a small explanatory dictionary, as well as information about cities and museums, where original works of art are located.
