Nikolai Ivanovich Kichunov (1863-1942)-Sandovar scientist, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences (1934), Professor (1920), Hero of Socialist Labor (1924), Honored Worker of Science of the RSFSR (1936) Nikolai Ivanovich studied in 1884-1886 at the University of Gene and the Potsdam Institute of Horticulture (Germany), and later in 1887-1889 he worked as the head of the Petrovic school of gardening.
