The hero of the first part of the Book of Furman "(" Country of Nightness") was a small child.
In the second part ("transformation") we face a teenager.
Most people do not remember or do not want to remember themselves at this age. "Adolescence" is too similar to a painful illness, which, besides, affects all others. But, as the author believes, the rejection of memories is equivalent to the abandonment of an understanding of himself today.
Fourman is "real" teenager, and it is described without any lack of defaults. Tests and experiences that it strangely attracts to himself, as if provoking fate, sometimes may seem excessive. Probably, it would be worthwhile to warn the reader, as was done in the old film mixes: "children and nervous is better to get out of the hall". But in the image of the "aventious teenager" overlapping all the same "Little Furman", whose childhood has passed before our eyes in the first part of the book ("country of vanity").
In 2012, the third and fourth part of the Book of Furman will come out. The reader will plunge into the atmosphere of the "congestive" 70s, with their secret mug, glowing the threads of which stretch through all the next decades
