The FUMO has been approved in the higher education system for the enlarged group of specialties and training directions 'Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry' as an educational and methodological manual for interuniversity use in educational institutions implementing higher education programs in the specialty 'Veterinary Medicine' and the training direction 'Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise' (bachelor's degree), 'Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise' (master's degree). The manual contains information on the basics of reproductive biology and development, as well as methodological approaches to the practical study of histological preparations in the discipline 'Biology of Reproduction and Development' and the section 'Embryology' of the discipline 'Cytology, Histology, and Embryology'. The publication provides information on preparing material for histological studies, basic information on working with a microscope, as well as a detailed description of histological preparations with a methodology for their study. The description of each preparation is accompanied by illustrations that facilitate the understanding of the material. At the end of each topic, a list of the most important questions is provided. In addition, tests for final knowledge control of students are presented for the specified disciplines. The manual is intended for students studying in the specialty 'Veterinary Medicine', training directions 'Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise' (bachelor's degree, master's degree), and 'Animal Husbandry' (bachelor's degree, master's degree).
