The textbook is intended for independent work of students of the medical and preventive faculty on the discipline 'Radiation Hygiene'. The textbook contains theoretical and methodological materials on radiation hygiene. Issues related to ensuring radiation safety for patients and providing state radiation-epidemiological surveillance in the field of radiation hygiene are discussed. Situational tasks and test assignments are provided to help students acquire practical skills necessary for specialists in the field of radiation hygiene. The textbook is compiled in accordance with the working program of the discipline 'Hygienic Education and Training', developed taking into account the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for Higher Education (3++) in the specialty 'Medical and Preventive Care', approved by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation No. 552 dated 15.06.2017.
