Some chemical transformations, technologies, typical main and auxiliary equipment for continuous processes of organic synthesis are considered. Special attention is paid to reactors and converters of contact-catalytic processes, equipment for rectification processes (rectification columns, their internal structure, plate constructions), technological design of some important organic synthesis processes, in particular, alkylation processes, catalytic cracking, and reforming processes.
For students studying in the Bachelor's degree program in Chemical Technology, with a specialization in Organic and Petrochemical Synthesis, in both full-time and part-time forms of education.
