The manual introduces the foundations of literary studies and analyzing the artistic text, prepares for reading the unadapted works of Russian classics. The manual includes scientific texts intended for the introduction and activation of professional-oriented language material, as well as the texts of folk genres and non-adapted passages from classical artistic works of the XVIII and XIX centuries, which are the subject of literary analysis. Scientific texts are equipped with tasks that are aimed at mastering literary terminology, the intensification of lexical and syntactic knowledge, the development of the skills of an oral professional-oriented scientific speech. Artistic texts are preceded by the biographies of writers, a lexico-stylistic commentary, are accompanied by a task system for pre-conducting and post-folding work.
