The textbook is dedicated to the issues of functional anatomy of the central nervous system, endocrine glands, and sensory systems. Functional anatomy examines the features of the structure of organs in relation to their function, thus approaching physiology. The goal of studying anatomy for students of psychological and pedagogical faculties is to form systemic representations of the morphological substrate of human psyche. This substrate primarily includes the central nervous system and organs of senses (sensory systems) directly related to it. Endocrine glands also have a certain influence on mental activity. Therefore, the corresponding sections of systematic anatomy (anatomy of the CNS, anatomy of sensory systems, anatomy of the endocrine system) are included in this textbook, described from the perspective of a functional approach. For students of psychological and pedagogical faculties in universities, as well as for a wide range of readers interested in neurophysiology.
