Luigi Lablash (1794-1858) - opera singer (bass) One of the outstanding singers of the XIX century, had a strong voice of a large range, a bright timbre, which sounded well in the cantileine and in virtuoso passages. In 1846, L. Lablash published his work "Method of singing" (in Russian translation - "full school for singing", the first edition in 1881), consisting of exercises and vocalizes with a detailed explanation of the rules for the development and improvement of voice. This publication also includes its collection of 12 vocalizes for soprano or tenor.
