In this textbook, the most complete coverage of the authors, whose works form the basis of teaching children in the first grades of the school under the program and as extracurricular reading. There are three sections in the book: in the first, the little schoolboy will read the fables of Krylov, the textbook poems of Pushkin, Nekrasov, Tyutchev, Yesenin and others, including modern poets. The section of fairy tales presents the most famous Russian folk tales, as well as fairy tales of Russian writers. The last section of the anthology is occupied by the stories of the classics of past centuries. The works included in the anthology is the foundation on which the formation of a good literary taste in children begins, the development of their proper speech and the education of personality
