Service Mineya is a fundamental gymnographic book of changeable chants of the stationary liturgical annual circle of the Orthodox Church, which contains the months of the calendar year for months in honor of the saints, holidays, revered icons and relics, historical events. Mineya arose in Constantinople in the IX century. As the fruit of the joint efforts of the Palestinian and Constantinople, the gymnographers and the result of the connection of Palestinian and Constantinople liturgical traditions. For its more than a 12-century history, the book has undergone significant changes regarding the structure and composition. As a result, the printed mines used today turned out to be similar to the museum, in which the uncountable members of wondrous statues - heads, legs, eyes, hands, belly and chest parts are fragmented and unidentified.
In this scientific study, based on gymnographic manuscripts of the VIII-XII centuries. From the monastery of St. Catherine on Sinai, an attempt was made to restore the former greatness of these "wondrous statues": to take the first step to the study of the origin of the Greek official Ministeria and the composition of its initial editions, to understand the patterns of development of the book in the first centuries of its existence
