This textbook has been developed in accordance with all the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard (FSES) approved by Order No. 287 of the Ministry of Education dated May 31, 2021. It is the main component of the textbook series for learning French as a second foreign language in the 'Blue Bird' line for 9th-grade students in general education institutions.
The textbooks in this series were created by joint Russian-French author teams in creative collaboration with the International Center for Pedagogical Research in Sèvres, with the support and participation of the French Embassy in Russia and the French publishing house 'CLE International'.
The main goal of the textbook is to develop students' communicative competence to a level sufficient for transitioning from the educational context to real communication situations with native speakers of the language. The features of this course include: integrated teaching of all types of speech activities, communicative and sociocultural orientation of authentic educational materials, a clear fixed structure of units, reaching the B1 Junior level in accordance with the requirements of the European Union. Visual clarity, the presence of audio supplements, and reference materials help create an atmosphere of engaged communication in the classroom.
