French for economists: practical course and translation: Textbook

"The manual consists of two parts: a practical course and a course of translation. The first part includes six main topics of the modern economy. The texts are located on the principle of general to the particular. Exercises and questions for texts are designed to consolidate and activate terminological vocabulary, the formation of skills of adequate understanding of original texts, as well as the skills of professionally oriented communication. The second part of the manual consistently examines the difficulties of three types of translation: lexical-therminological, grammatical and expressive-stylistic. Exercises in this part develop the ability to transcode professional information from the French language into Russian and vice versa. An important task is the formation of translation ethnocultural competence - communicative competence, due to belonging to a certain linguistic and economic culture, which implies the possession of the realities of this culture, as well as the language norm and the usus
