The textbook of the Basics of Sustainable Development Economy should be attributed to the educational literature of a new generation, in which the need to expand the subject of economic theory and practice is convincingly demonstrated. The proposed textbook is associated with the solution of one of the most acute problems - the problem of the survival of humanity. In fact, we are talking about the economy capable of mobilizing the necessary mechanisms that would provide future generations the opportunity to live on the planet Earth. The traditional economy is able to deprive humanity of habitat, biodiversity, natural resources. A new system of assessing economic and social progress is necessary.
Sustainable development economy is trying to answer the most important questions that the traditional economy does not respond: what is the real price that humanity pays, increasing consumer benefits than to measure the quality of economic growth, how to make the development of the economy with the possibilities of natural systems. Throughout the course, the need to transition to the new paradigm of the global economy is justified: the macroeconomics of human society should be applied, included in the economy of the nature of the Earth. The main object of the study is a socio-ecological and economic system.
