The book is intended to determine the Dokainozoic fossil residues of plants and animals of the south of Moscow, Moscow and a number of neighboring regions - Kaluga, Tula, Ryazan. Descriptions of about 300 species of the most ordinary and characteristic fossils of the region, belonging to 23 different classes are given. In the atlas, spore and seed plants are intestinal sponges, multi -shackworms, arthropod, double -legged, girdle and cephalopods, mucas and brachiopods, acupuncture of cartilage fish and sea reptiles. For each taxon, color photos are given from several angles sufficient to confidently determine the object. In addition, information on age -related dedication and frequency of occurrence is presented, as well as detailed morphological descriptions of comparison with similar forms. To diagnose large taxa, a definitive key is given in front of the descriptive part.
