The book discusses the specificity of the philosophical discourse in terms of its relationship with literature in the intellectual culture of the XIX-XX centuries. A number of specific cases are analyzed from the history of Russian and European literature, when the artistic word becomes a tool of philosophical knowledge and, on the contrary, literature uses discursive elements of philosophy to solve aesthetic tasks. As the author shows, "border" processes between two discourses are much more complicated and more diverse than it is usually submitted when analyzing the individual facts of literary and philosophical mimicry.
