Formation of the allergic phenotype of a child before and after birth. Mechanisms and prevention

The manual discusses issues related to the frequency of allergic reactions in the children"s population, and the factors underlying their development. The results of the authors" own studies are presented, revealing the mechanism of "programming" of the child’s allergic phenotype when developing in conditions of chronic placental failure. The risk of developing food sensitization after the birth of a healthy child is determined in the presence of a pathology of the gastrointestinal tract or upper respiratory tract and the genitourinary system in the mother.
