Forest Radioecology. Educational manual

The textbook provides general information on radioactive contamination of the biogeosphere, discusses the effects of ionizing radiation on living organisms in forest ecosystems, as well as the main protective measures used in forestry in radioactively contaminated areas. It includes a radioecological classification of forest types, addresses the issue of using forest resources in areas contaminated with radionuclides, characterizes the peculiarities of hunting management in radionuclide-contaminated hunting grounds, and covers general concepts of radiation safety, sanitary measures, and occupational hygiene in the contaminated forest area. It complies with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for secondary vocational education and professional qualification requirements. Intended for students of technical schools and colleges studying in the fields of "Forestry and Forest Park Management" and "Hunting and Game Management."
