Forest Radioecology. Educational manual

The textbook provides general information on radioactive contamination of the biogeosphere, discusses the effects of ionizing radiation on living organisms in forest ecosystems, as well as the main protective measures used in forestry in radioactively contaminated areas. It includes a radioecological classification of forest types, addresses the issue of using forest resources in areas contaminated with radionuclides, characterizes the peculiarities of hunting management in areas contaminated with radionuclides, and covers general concepts of radiation safety, sanitary measures, and occupational hygiene in contaminated forest areas.
