The textbook covers the issues of comprehensive mechanization of work in forestry. It provides methods for calculating the traction parameters of forest machines and equipment when interacting with the working bodies of machines with the soil during reforestation and with the forest stand during logging and skidding operations in maintenance cuts. The issues of maneuverability and stability of power units when moving in rough terrain in forest conditions are considered. The possibilities of using the compact wheel tractor T-25AL of the LTA named after S.M. Kirov in various technological operations in forestry are determined.
