In the past two decades, our country"s participation in the international division of labor has been significantly expanded. The high proportion of commodity groups is supplied to foreign markets, the import of many goods, primarily consumer goods of short-term and long-term use, as well as components for the manufacture of finished products.
The expansion of Russia"s participation in the international division of labor objectively requires an increase in the economic literacy of managers engaged in foreign trade operations. In the commencement of the reader of the encyclopedia, the release of which its authors - professors and teachers of the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade - timed to the 80th anniversary of their organization, first analyzed and disclosed the essence of many economic and foreign trade terms, widely used in international trade, but few known for non-specialists. Much attention in work is paid to the low-investment terminas, which first appeared in the practice of international trade at the beginning of the XXI century. There was no such work on explaining the essence and possibilities of using a variety of foreign trade terms in Russia. This is a new word in a special economic literature dedicated to the mass of foreign trade knowledge that contributes to improving the efficiency of domestic exports and imports.
The encyclopedia will contribute to the training and growth of the qualifications of specialists from various industries. It will especially be interesting to economists, managers, students and graduate students of the relevant faculties of specialized universities
