In the proposed monograph, for the first time in Russian literature, an attempt is made to investigate the features of the functioning of international banking structures in reference to different countries of the world. Over the past two decades, many states have radically changed their approach to the tolerance and regulation of foreign banks, making it possible to win their leading positions in national financial markets. At the same time, under the influence of globalization forces, the branches and subsidiaries of TNCs and international banks in particular are differentiated, and at the same time, the field of competition between countries for a share in the value chain increases many times. Through the prism of the concept of the chain of the creation of value in the banking industry, the book describes the causes, forms and basic socio-economic consequences of foreign expansion of international banks, the transformation of the internal structure of international banks and its effect for taking countries associated with this expansion, the world experience of interaction between national regulators from foreign banks, as well as the reaction of countries to the influx of capital from abroad to home banking markets.
