In the first part of the study manual, brief characteristics and agrotechnologies of all field crops are given, which are used for feed targets. The second part describes the main plants of hayfosses and pastures, as well as their classification. The main attention is paid to various agrotechnologies of their superficial and indigenous improvement in the main zones of the country (forest, forest-steppe, steppe, semi-desert and mountain belts) The third part is devoted to the organization of summer content of animals (green and raw conveyors, natural and cultural pastures), harvesting of feed for the winter period (hay, silage, Senage, etc), as well as the modern state of seeds of perennial herbs.
