All his life, Sergey Butov dedicated to the study of programs, events, the fate of the Decembrists, created in essence the catalog of their names, photographs, biographies, statements. The book presents almost all convicted officers - participants in the uprising, describe their views on the management system in Russia and its development.
The author convincingly proves that all the Decembrists had pure thoughts, brave hearts, high ideals of serving debris, sacrifice in the name of the Motherland and the loyalty to the Word. The author of the book opposes the oblivion of the addemnial attack of the Decembris, disputes the negativity of the Decembrism in Russia, truthfully talking about the fate of Russian patriots.
In the book more than 70 illustrations, 56 of them are portraits of the Decembrists
