The anthology of contemporary patriotic poetry of the Union of Writers of Russia "For Our Friends" presents the works of about two hundred poets who responded to the Special Military Operation (SMO) and the dramatic events of recent years. They are all united by a living historical memory, rejection of Nazism, support for the soldiers of Russia, and belief in our victory.
The anthology, which is the result of the release of numerous collections of patriotic poetry, includes poems by poets fighting on the front lines and fallen in battles for the Motherland, participants of "literary assaults" in the SMO zone, as well as authors representing various regions of the country, including the DPR, LPR, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson regions, and many national republics of Russia. Separate sections highlight poignant female poetry and works by students of cadet schools and Suvorov military academies.
The palette of poems presented to readers is a vivid reflection of the society's moods expressed in poetic words.
