The biography of a wonderful ascetic, Christ for the sake of the holy fool Feofil, written by the priest Vladimir Zno, was first published in 1906 by the Kiev Pechersk Lavra.
Vladimir Ivanovich Znsko-Metrophoric Archpriest, native uncle of the bishop of Mi-Trofan (Znosko-Borovsky) Before the revolution, he was a missionary in the United States. After the First World War, he ended up in Germany, where he became the rector of the Russian embassy Holy-Vladimir Church in Berlin.
