One morning, the measured life of a quiet town is turned upside down. English teacher Mila, while walking her dog, finds a treasure of ancient coins. Before this, she was nearly hit by a famous architect - it turns out, he is building an unusual house nearby for one of the town's fathers. And soon after, in Kuznetskaya Sloboda, the body of a local entrepreneur is found. His wife is suspected of the murder. She has been friends since childhood with the former owner of the plot where the treasure was hidden... Is this a coincidence or links in a chain? Why do criminals break into Mila's house, when everyone knows - the treasure was taken to the police? She will have to figure it all out by herself...
