1937. The crew of the aircraft N-209 under the command of the famous pilot Sigizmund Levanevsky took off on a transpolar flight from Moscow to the USA via the North Pole. After an emergency radio message sent from the North Pole region, the aircraft did not arrive at the intermediate destination point in Alaska at the expected time. The search for the missing aircraft continued for a whole year, but it did not yield any positive results. While studying materials for a film, director Orlov establishes that besides the officially registered radio messages received from the aircraft, other messages were sent and heard by radio operators in the northeast of the country. However, for some reason, they were not included in the general list. The director concludes that Levanevsky's aircraft did not crash over the North Pole or near Alaska, but continued its flight after the last emergency radio message.
