When Laura was a teenager, her family moved to Stockholm, where she entered the famous Rmi-Berghs Communications Institute. After the release, Laura worked as a illustrator-freelancer, collaborating with design bureaus, advertising agencies and magazines. Having built a successful career as an illustrator and teacher in Stockholm, in 1993 Laura moved to New York. She quickly found a job, starting to cooperate with fashionable shops (for example, the Bergdorf Goodman shopping center), design bureau and magazines (such as New Yorker and Harper"s Bazaar) In 2001, the first book of Lurangvist for children was published.
