Terane Orujova (Kerimova) was born in 1967 in the village of Piral in the Kusar district of the Azerbaijan SSR. Her first collection of poems "Do Not Grieve, Heart" was published in 2021 by the Moscow publishing house "Grifon" in both Lezgian and Russian languages. The poet's second book "Soar" is being released in a bilingual format - in Lezgian and Russian languages. The poems were translated into Russian by Evgeny Chekanov, and the prose by Yurmet Nagiyev. The editor of the texts in Lezgian language is Yusif Khalilov.
