Victor Sosnora, perhaps the only figure in modern Russian poetry, about which there are no disputes between different literary trends and groups - the merits of the poet before Russian literature are recognized by everything. His works were translated into the main European languages (L. Brik took on the troubles of this in the 60s) and have long become the object of close study of literary scholars and philologists. He was in creative (and friendly) relations with N. Zabolotsky, V. Kamensky, A. Kruchenkh, D. Burliuk. The avant -garde and expressionist in poetry, as a prose writer, he became one of the founders of the Russian literary postmodern. Truly a living classic.
